1) Is your skin dry?

Get a mousier. I advise E45 when the skin isn't open and exposed as this can sting. If it is opened, try Diprobase. I advise using this as much as possible so make it a habbit to use it every 30mins. After the dry skin has been treated, make it a habbit to put on mousier three times a day. Morning, dinner and bedtime.

2) Does it itch?

Buy E45 Itch Relief. This will numb the skin so you can't the eczema and effectively stop the itching. If you can't feel the itch, you won't scratch. Put this on as soon as you feel any kind of itch. Do no give it a chance to develop momentum and kill the itch before it latches on. If the Itch persists, get something cold (a cold gel pack) and apply it on the area. The coldness will sooth the area and your itch should start to ease as soon as the E45 Itch Relief takes effect.

3) Is it flaky?

Unless you know for certain by brushing it off with your thumb it will go off, don't pick it off. Keep using E45 and this will loosen the flaky skin so eventually it will peel of either whilst you sleep or at it's own time. The same applies to the first question.

4) Is there a patch of skin red?

Contact your doctor and ask for a Steroid cream to treat the red effected area. Depending how long it's been around for it should easily take care of the flareup. Depending how long it's been around, I would apply cream for three to five days.

5) Is the patch of red skin warm/hot

Put a cold gel pack on the effected area or take a lukewarm shower, as cold as you can bare but not too cold so it's uncomfortable. Stay in for ten minutes, applying mousier whilst in the shower and then after the shower. Put the cold gel pack on again after you apply E45 Itch Relief. If this persists, contact your doctor as a cold shower should take care of the issue.

6) Do you find any yellow crusty patches/bits or wet patches of skin.

Contact the doctor about the issue. You will most likely be given antibiotics followed with you Steroid cream if you haven't got one already. Apply the Steroid cream as instructed but in all honesty I will put it on about two times a day. Do no apply E45 on area with wetting as this is the body trying to form new skin on the effected area. When some sort of skin is formed, add a think drop of E45 on with E45 Itch relief. Repeat this when the area gets dry again. When it is wet, you can try and add COD Liver Oil on the area which will give it some sort of mousier.
